BURNELLI CBY 3

This is one of the most interesting aircraft ever designed and built. Mr Vincent Burnelli airplanes were designed and built to be roomier, lighter, efficient and MUCH SAFER than the commonly built cylindrical type fuselage airliners. I want to Thank Chalmers Goodlin for his great assitance and advice in this 1/8th project. Mr Goodlin made the initial flight test on the BELL X1, aircraft  in which Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier. Years later, Mr Goodlin was Mr Burrnelli's Test Pilot and ACTUALLY flew the prototype below. He says " It is the most wonderful aicraft I ever flown...It gives you the stability of an armor car, and the comfort of a Cadillac"
